NEW YORK, NY

west village loft 01

The design of this renovation was centered around the need for storage.  Our clients sold their suburban home and downsized to a NYC studio loft.  This 460sf space received a new custom lacquer expanded kitchen complete with an island and eat-in counter.  The 10ft high ceilings allowed the space above the kitchen to receive matching cabinetry for miscellaneous overflow storage. A 4ft long sink was installed at the center of the galley and marbled quartz slabs were selected for the countertops and backsplash.

The long wall of the apartment received a 13.5ft wall bed unit outfitted with clothing storage and two European style murphy beds which operate electronically.  The beds open directly over the 10ft long sofa that lives in front of the unit making this a very comfortable space during the day. New hardwood floors, doors, and hardware were also installed.
